Greatbatch is a leading developer and supplier of custom-designed hermetic feedthroughs
for the implantable medical device industry.
Because feedthroughs carry device-circuitry current to the lead-delivery system
implanted into the bodys vital organs, each feedthrough undergoes rigorous testing
and inspection. This testing includes, insulation resistance, thermal shock, hermeticity,
and critical dimension verification.
To rapidly address standard demand, Greatbatch makes available several non-proprietary
feedthrough designs.
