As part of our complete medical solutions strategy, Greatbatch offers a fully staffed
engineering design team located at our Cleveland, Ohio, facility
(formerly BIOMEC,
Inc.).

The Device Engineering Services Group uses its proven engineering and design skills
to execute customer driven development and manufacturing programs. This Greatbatch
team are highly effective cross-disciplined engineers with strong core technology
capabilities in sensorbased medical devices, medical electronics, mechanical design
and software development. |
Device
Assembly Services
Greatbatch is dedicated to continuously offering our customers device-differentiating
quality and value. Our new state-of-the-art, 144,000
square-foot facility in Tijuana,
Mexico, delivers high-quality, efficient, turnkey manufacturing and assembly capabilities.
Combined with rapid prototyping, engineering, and testing abilities, the Mexico
facility provides customers with first-class operational excellenceultimately reducing
time to market.
The plant includes 90,000 square feet of manufacturing space; one class
10,000 clean room and two class 100,000 clean rooms; fully equipped engineering, metrology, and quality laboratories; and high-tech security and monitoring systems.
Like all Greatbatch manufacturing facilities, the Mexico plant is
ISO 9001-2000-certified; the facility also recently received ISO13485
certification for device assembly.
