Requirements: |
• 2 Year degree in technical field, or high school graduate with 3-5  years mechanical or electrical relevant experience in a trade or manufacturing environment.
• General knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with use of computer to use programs in Word, Outlook, Excel.
• Required to obtain working knowledge of facility related system; HVAC, air and gas distribution, refrigeration, special environments, security alarms, computerized facility systems, etc.
• Clean driving record.
• Required to work occasional /scheduled weekend rotation and necessary call-in hours if requested.
• Work in a variety of conditions, i.e. climatic weather (cold/snow, heat/humidity), dusty, oily, noisy, etc.

Description: |
The primary purpose of this position is to perform general maintenance, service, and repairs to equipment and machinery, including facilities.
1) Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and systems for emergency repair.
2) Applies skill, experience, and general knowledge to a wide range of tasks to adjust, repair, disassemble, replace, reassemble, and maintain equipment or facilities.
3) Performs preventative maintenance routines and inspections.
4) May order supplies.
